So far, so good. The board is a worthy fake. I'm deducting a star for now because a couple of the titles were crooked and I had to straighten them out. I'm also deducting a star because we had trouble matching the parts to the list on the back of the parts pictures. new to this so any further help with labeling would be great. This set has it all. For just a little more than the Uno, you get a TON of stuff to plug in and experiment with. As others have pointed out, the documentation consists of a single sheet of paper listing the contents of the kit. Also, be prepared to google something. It arrived this afternoon and I've already looked through a number of example projects from the Arduino book I have. Now I'm playing with a dual color 8x8 LED matrix. I see many hours of fun and learning with this set.

I bought this Arduino starter kit to have some fun projects, to introduce my young son to what technology can do besides things like TV, and to show some real world coding applications. This is a well built starter kit if you are interested in learning Arduino. The kit contains all the parts to work with the supplied manual (on CD). So if you want to take another "course" you should additionally buy other parts that you may need specifically for that (transistors, diodes, stepper motors, etc.).

Pros: Incredibly fantastic deal. With the components I used (I would say about half of them) I had no problems.
