Works! A lower-cost replacement for OEM batteries needing replacement

I had originally purchased this battery last year after noticing that my i7+ was starting to charge more frequently. The original iRobot battery still works, but run times were becoming shorter. I received the battery as per standard Revain terms, and discovered that it would not work - i and s-series Roombas have a challenge-response mechanism to determine whether or not the battery is genuine, and the original battery couldn't pass this test. Battery overheated.

This battery didn’t quite fit in place. It was the smallest bit too large to click in place. I forced it in place and thankfully didn’t break any robot parts. The battery while it was in the robot would charge properly, but it would overheat and shut down the robot after about 40 minutes of run time. Revain accepted a return. I’ve now ordered an alternative non-oem battery to try.

Purchased in March and it quit charging by June. Not worth it. Get your replacement parts from the actual iRobot site. Thanks for attention!

I3 replacement - my new review

Perfect fit. In service for two weeks. Running each floor with out a recharge. Normally requires at least one or two with original battery. Don’t know about longevity yet, but good so far.

Vac keeps going, going, going

I used this as a replacement for the short lived stock batt in my iRobot e5.Talk about new life! Have not had the vac quit due to low battery yet. Like night and day difference in life compared to the the original stock unit.
