I bought this because it said it was waterproof. Either it's not designed to keep moisture out after drying or I have fake ink. My ink is NOT waterproof even after drying overnight.

I wouldn't call it waterproof. Try painting over it with white ink or gouache and it turns gray. If you do a kink with water flushing, it will turn gray. Otherwise a very good mascara with a pleasant feel.

I've tried different inks over the years and this one works about average with some ups and downs. Works with a brush, lays down like any other, dries fairly quickly (min 10) even when wet, totally waterproof. I just finished the illustration and went from full coverage to a dry brush. When it dries, I'll practically saturate the paper with water, other inks, and watercolors. It didn't move or mix with the colors applied. I'm a bit new to calligraphy (since about September 2016) and this is by far the best ink I've tried. I bought it from Anintrans suggestion on their blog and I'm glad I did! The best way I can describe it is that it is very smooth and has a low viscosity so it flows very well over the pen (the ink actually says something about it). There's also a black Kuretake ink, which is a "quick-dry manga drawing ink" that I've tried as well, and while it's good, it's nowhere near as good as this ink (for…
