Review on 🖤 Kuretake Zig Cartoonist Sumi Ink 60ml Bottle - Black: Premium Quality Japanese Ink for Stunning Black Artwork by Kelly Caballes

I'm a bit new to calligraphy (since about September 2016) and this is by far the best ink I've tried. I bought it from Anintrans suggestion on their blog and I'm glad I did! The best way I can describe it is that it is very smooth and has a low viscosity so it flows very well over the pen (the ink actually says something about it). There's also a black Kuretake ink, which is a "quick-dry manga drawing ink" that I've tried as well, and while it's good, it's nowhere near as good as this ink (for me). The black label is definitely thicker and has a glossy sheen after drying. I also tried the standard Speedball black ink, which is a distant third compared to both Kuretake types. Hunt 101); It's really good for tiny little hairlines. This product ships from Japan, so you need to order it in advance if you need it soon. I've ordered twice from this seller, no problems, and each time delivery took 2-3 weeks.
