Very nice brush pen

Very nice brush pen. Exactly what I expected from a Japanese writing instrument. I want the other end to be a smaller version of the same black brush instead of gray, but gray is useful too.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Not sure

Not great for beginners

I bought this because I thought it was a good entry level option. I must be an extra beginner because I get frustrated with how difficult it is to maintain a thin shot. I also wish there was a big color difference between the two ends. , thick lines, with my #6 Escoda watercolor brush. I think I'll keep trying other pens.

Pros
  • Grips

  • Mostly good but...

Disappointed - worn tip

I was INCREDIBLY excited to get my first Kuretake ZIG Brushable to test and use! However, when I received the brush pen I immediately noticed that the swath was frayed at the end and I was disappointed. I tried using it anyway, hoping that maybe it just wasn't worn out, in fact just some kind of lint or hair. The gray on the opposite side was in good condition but I bought it in place of the black so I need to replace it hopefully with a pandemic it won't be too difficult. But everything else…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

I was very happy to try this

I've always kept an eye on these pens because I've seen some of the reviews on YouTube. I have about 25 different types of writing brush pens, so I have a good idea of what a decent brush pen should look and feel like. Unfortunately, the one I bought here at Revain wore out from the start (which unfortunately happens from time to time). If this pen wasn't $5, I think the frayed tip would be easier to swallow. It was very difficult to make thin upward strokes with both sides of the brush nib…

Pros
  • . Good product for the price
Cons
  • fragile

Better than Tombow for brush writing!

-- FIRST IMPRESSIONS -- Why I switched from Tombow: I just got this brush and I love it. I bought this because I wanted to see if I liked the Brushbables better than the Tombow Dual Brush Pens which are pretty good for brush writing. I didn't like the Tombows because I felt the tips wore out easily and they were quite difficult to control. Pros: - The tip feels springy. It's soft enough to draw thick lines, but it's bouncy, making it easier to draw fine lines. The color flows well and is…

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I'll write back later
