Edit: Upon further examination I believe it is genuine despite some indication of it being fake but a touch of doubt is still enough, to stop me from using it. I suggest if you're buying this, do your homework on some of the unmistakable warning signs of counterfeit Kuro Sumi ink AND contact the manufacturer directly (especially if any of these warning signs are present). Bought for my 17 year old daughter who is an artist. She decided she wanted to be a tattoo artist so I decided to help her be great. This ink is DEEP in color as you can see. I will definitely buy more. I hope I can find more colors from this brand and they are just as bold in colour.

I checked out the Kuro Sumi site and New York Tattoo is the official dealer. I also put a few drops to dry and they dried up with a glossy film. The bottle was sealed well and didn't leak. I bought this second bottle after my son received and used the first one I ordered for him. He gave very good feedback. I received my bottle and everything was fine until I changed the caps. I started diluting some ink in my large tattoo ink cup and unfortunately the ink also spilled out from under the lid which made a big mess.
