Bad glue Great grips

This is my second set of grips for my bike. I changed them immediately after buying the bike and again after 12 years. The best advice I can give is DO NOT USE THE ADHESIVE that comes with it. dries too quickly. I bought "Harley" glue after talking to a few people.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Expensive

Great pens, terrible glue!

The Kuryakyn brand speaks for itself, so there is not much to comment on. However, the glue they opted for is an absolute joke. The clutch disengaged after 1,000 miles in just 24 hours. Do yourself a favor and use a two part epoxy like I did and it will never come off! The air-filled rubber does a great job of minimizing vibration. Highly recommended by me.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • No

Love these grips in grips

I actually already had a pair on the bike I bought but they were worn out (I'm not sure what the girl did to get them so worn out make - it could have been fakes ). ). I wanted them in black anyway so that was an upgrade too. These grips are much more comfortable than the standard grips. Definitely improves the ride. I think there's also a new design for the ISO shots, which is good too.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Negative impression

Best grips match parts

Had these on my old volcano when I bought the new one, used stock grips for a couple of years. I noticed that my hands hurt and got tired on long drives. Bought these pens and no more problems. They also look great on the bike. Installation took as long as it takes to finish a pint. Just be careful when mounting the crank without a choke, straighten it quickly, if it binds it won't turn anymore. Great grips, will buy again if I get another bike.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Discarded

I had to replace the existing Kuryakyn choke with.

I had to replace the existing Kuryakyn throttle grip on my old 1100 when it broke on the throttle cable ring. It turns out that this is a bit of a problem for those manufacturers who use plastic sliders. High cost of replacing the plastic slider. Have to buy both grips to get the throttle grip AND pay full price for the chrome grip/ASO rubber to get the plastic rail. A little robbery. not the fault of the Amazon; Kuryakin's arrogance.

Pros
  • Datura 🔥
Cons
  • Little things

I hesitate to give a bad review of these grips. but the throttle grip got me stuck - twice. The plastic end holding the small cylinder at the end of the throttle cable broke off twice. I thought the first one was a coincidence. It only gave me a replacement discount. Now, 8 months later and maybe 4,000 miles to replace the clutch, it also broke the same way. (which of course also lets me down) Kuriakan wants to blame me and the bike - Triumph Thunderbird 1600 - and says that the tension is too…

Pros
  • Solid finish
Cons
  • Nothing here
