The collar is excellent. It fits and works great on my cat and he tolerates it very well. He has no problem with eating or drinking. The only problem is that the edge protection that is sewn in to protect the neck will fray after a few days where it was sewn in, so I'm not sure how long it will last. Maybe this is not a problem, more than a week has passed while everything is fine. Otherwise I love it!

This collar worked great for our cat and despite many tries he couldn't take it off. At the same time, the edges of this collar are not protected at all, they are simply the plastic edge. As our cat tried to continue scratching, the edge of the collar cut into his skin, causing further injuries. So a collar is fine, but depending on where your pet is injured, make sure the edge of the plastic isn't touching the wound.

For 4.5" to 7" neck: Fits a kitten. Not for an adult cat. The depth is normal for an adult cat, but the neck circumference is not. Too tight for my 8" slim adult kitten. Will buy a size up to try as otherwise I really like it. It is made from very strong yet flexible clear plastic with easy to use clips for attachment. Visibility through the Plastic is much better than the picture shows. The following size should fit most adult cats.

I bought this for a cat who was itching so bad she was tearing her fur. That really stopped him. He was still able to get up so we'll buy a size up to see if that helps as he was just on the verge of sizes. Even with the scratching of the claws on the back, some of the neck lining is still present, albeit mostly internal. All in all it worked pretty well to stop him from eating himself. I'll try a larger size to see if it helps with the rest.

Very light and cleanest recovery collar I could find for my cat. I'm giving it three stars because I had to buy another one a few weeks later. My cat needs a collar for 4-6 weeks but one of the buttons broke after a few uses so I had to buy another one. This is a good buy, this is the only collar she will take. Sometimes my Persian cat wears this when I'm grooming her or clipping her claws. If he wears this collar, he can't bite me. But the neck of the collar was too loose and the depth too long.
