🚪 Kwikset 300CV 11P CP 93001-868 Cove Bed and Bath Knob - Venetian Bronze Finish Review

I bought 12 Cove grips and they were very difficult to install. I have installed many knobs over the years. Had to return 1 because it didn't work no matter what I did in the settings. There are a few more that I will have to return as well, but I will be dealing with poor quality as they are on doors that are rarely used. Hours of frustration installing them. The coating is easily scratched with a screwdriver.

Very easy installation. Clear instructions for beginners. Kiwkset is a reliable brand. Keep in mind that the lighter colors of Venetian bronze are not as obvious upon viewing as they are in the picture. Not that this is intentionally misleading, but the room needs to be very brightly lit for them to be visible as well, so you might find that they look dimmer than expected. I had no complaints about myself, but you should be aware of that.

I really wanted to like these pens, but no matter how hard I try, I can't. I bought these to upgrade my house from brass to bronze. . The good news is that the colors match. The grips mount well, but they have what I call "tin" compared to the ones I replaced. You just feel empty and weak. The other disappointment is the finishes, they are really badly preserved. If you're looking for a budget-friendly pen, this is it. If you are looking for elegance, try something different.

As a rule, the quality of Kwikset is no longer impressive. These pens are flimsy and appear to be very cheaply made. There is an extremely annoying "feature" about these knobs, that they "click" badly when you turn them left or right. I bought 4 pens and this was done for each one. Horror, honestly, I can't imagine living in a house where every knob in the house that I turn hears a click.
