Description of KYB 344047 Excel G Gas Shock

KYB recommended OEM replacement shock for trucks. Specifically calibrated to help restore original handling and control characteristics. Uses a seamless working cylinder matched with a Teflon coated piston band for a positive seal and longer life. Triple chrome plated piston rod and multi-lip oil seals that reduce wear. Solid seamless mounting eye rings and bolt bushings to eliminate rattles.

The Perfect Upgrade for Your Automotive Suspension!

The KYB shock was an ideal replacement for my aging suspension .I was pleasantly surprised by its sturdy structure and its ability to absorb bumpy roads with ease. The improved ride was noticeable from the first drive and the gas feature is a plus for smoother handling..

28 years of using the original shock absorbers have killed them. These replacement devices are perfect.

The stock shock absorbers were removed from our '87 Mits Mighty Max. This is a direct OEM replacement for front shock absorbers. No surprises. Installed on all four corners in less than 2 hours. The fronts of these cars are not strut assemblies, so they are much easier to install. You will need a second front jack to compress them into the space inside the spring.
