🔧 KYB 345022 Excel-G Gas Shock, Black/Silver Review

I bought these for my Land Cruiser which still had the original shock absorbers installed. No problem with the new shock absorbers, the problem was dismantling the old ones after thirty years. Bought front and rear shock absorbers.

I bought these to replace the stock shock absorbers in a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser with 90,000 miles. Doesn't matter! Now obviously there will be a difference with worn out shock absorbers, but you feel great. Handling is greatly improved, the ride is firm, smooth and not harsh. We have a 2003 Lexus 470 in our family and it's still a better car to drive!

These shocks were purchased to replace the stock kit on my 1999 Toyo Land Cruiser. These shocks are almost identical to the OE with one exception; The grommets on all front and rear KYBs are taller and narrower than stock and as such it wasn't possible to fit the front KYB grommets so I ended up using 20 year old OE grommets which luckily were in good condition. I wish I had bought a more expensive competition.

I bought these to replace the stock shocks on my 2001 Land Cruiser. They have restored the driving performance of the trucks better than originally. I've given Bilsteins some serious thought but have come to the conclusion that while I'd like to think that this truck will spend more than half of its life on the trails and needs a rougher ride, the reality is that it's 5- will cover 10 km.
