Perfect fit for 98 Ford F150 RWD.

Excellent quality and easy to install. Perfect OEM replacement. BUT I would like to use the Monroe with extra springs on the outside which increases the carrying capacity. Although probably a bit harder to drive.

  • Ideal for a small home

Featured! for parts

Replaced stock shocks on my 1998 F-150 with 198,500 miles. The originals were still functional but a bit bland. The assembly and the 565004 firmed up my ride (especially noticeable around corners and big dips/bumps), but not enough to be uncomfortably stiff. Featured!

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Cables shorter than other parts

Driveability restored

After 145,000 miles on my F150 it's time to freshen up the suspension. What a difference - there is no longer a washboard effect on really bumpy roads and the handling is also improved - the truck feels very cramped again. Very happy with the ride quality. I did both front and rear shock absorbers at the same time.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons

Make no mistake, these upheavals are amazing.

The best shocks I have ever fitted. I installed them on my 2001 f150, it drives better than new. I thought long and hard about which one to get and I'm glad I decided on this one. I just put the m95 skyjacker on my speedo and wish I had them installed. I have used Bilstein, Tokiko, Koni and Tein in the past. This shock surpasses them all.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Works

The old truck drives much better!

And the old shock absorbers weren't worn out. and this truck is not a working truck. Most of the time he sits in the garage and "drives" to Starbucks and Kohl's. This is the woman's car. Now I have to say that the corners are much tighter. looks more like a car than a truck. This amplifies the ride but doesn't cause any discomfort. but that will be my opinion. I also like the red color, it looks great when you drive behind it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The only truck shock I will ever buy

shocks bring truck handling back to new or better. 18 months ago I bought new shock absorbers from a big brand. About 6 months later I noticed an oil leak from the front shock absorber. The shocks never cushioned the undulating pavement as much as I would have liked, but bad luck forced me to buy new ones. After a long search for first-class truck shock absorbers, I decided on the MonoMax. The difference between this shock and any other shock is like night and day. MonoMax smooths out washboard
