KYB 565019 MonoMax Gas Shock: Unmatched Performance and Reliability Review

As a result of my tests, I determined that this gas shock delivers exceptional handling and stability. The installation process was straightforward, and the shocks have surpassed my expectations. The MonoMax technology provides excellent control over the vehicle, making it an excellent fit for off-road enthusiasts. The high durability, on the other hand, may come at a price, as these shocks are costly compared to others in their range.

I bought these because I thought my truck would run smoother and get rid of the bounce and bounce effect (2000 Dodge 1 Ton Dually). After installing them I called KYB and asked if they were a little softer. They claimed the MonoMax shocks were 40% stiffer than stock! Enough said. Theses are a LITTLE hard for me. If I drove the 1500# as a real work truck all the time then they would work fine, not too well without a heavy load in the rear.

I have installed KYB Monomax shocks on my Dodge 3/4 Ton 4X4 and they work great. I've had them on my 1996 Ford F350 CrewCab 4X4 with Powerstroke for about 5 years now and they work flawlessly. I had a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4X4 with a 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine and it had a lot of body roll. I put KYB Monomax shocks on all wheels and the body rolls for so long. They fixed all the handling and jiggling issues. Great product at a good price from Amazon.
