Truck monotube design outperforms all other standard shock absorbers. Zinc-coated, stainless steel piston ring provides a positive seal in the most extreme conditions. Rubber boot to protect the shaft and keep dirt and debris away from the seals.

2000JeepGC drives better!

fast delivery, it didn't come with rubber boots, but the jeep drives very differently! I'm happy I will post again in the future to let you know how they are holding up. (installed today)

Great product for the price.

They fit perfectly. Easy to install and great price. The only thing that disappointed me was that the description said they come with boot covers. It's not like this.

2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition

I bought a KYB MonoMax to replace the stock shocks on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition (almost Laredo). 114,000 miles on the originals and they were leaking grease and the rear was noticeably slippery going over bumps or highway bumps. Although the actual product looks different from the photo (it doesn't have a rubber bellows on the bottom half), it's just red and doesn't have any writing on it. They were fairly easy to replace, and the Jeep's mileage went from 19mpg to just overโ€ฆ

Exactly what I was hoping for.

These shocks were exactly what I was looking for, they gave more control and a better ride especially with a heavy load or when towing a trailer. To me this is way better than the stock shocks that came with the car.

The finest shock absorbers ever made on earth, at the right price, and the staff at KYB are on hand to help you succeed when you need it.

This is my second review of these shocks. They fit as smoothly as I expected, a highly regarded product will fit because the local Cypress, Texas auto talk show has always recommended KYB for at least 10 years. I listened to his car repair/maintenance advice. H was never wrong and this confirms his record for me when I bought them and have since experienced easy installation and a mega super ride! Don't lose this report.
