KYB Gas Adjust for Shocks

Should have replaced those awful Monroes with KYBs a long time ago. My truck now devours motorway crossings with flying colors. Monroes loved to tap-dance on expansion joints, which was very nerve-wracking. Also fairly quickly (less than a year) vomited the intestines.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Ride Good But Poor Handling Silverado 1500

I'm a bit disappointed that KYB shocks have a great reputation. The quality and fit of these shocks on the rear of my 2004 Silverado 1500 2wd was fine. But I'm used to it and prefer hard handling (there used to be gas magnums). They allow more swaying and jumping than I would like. They drive well on smooth roads. Next time I'll take something else.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Upgradeable
