Needs improvement - save your money.

Based on my observations, this suspension kit didn't live up to the hype. While it did provide slightly better handling, the difference was negligible. It also didn't improve the ride quality at all, which is what I was hoping for.

The quality of the rubber was inferior to them.

The quality of the rubber was worse than what I took. I seriously talked about leaving the old ones. Also, one box was missing some parts - in this case, the old ones were simply reused.

Here's your OEM replacement shock absorber for your VW MK3, just got a little better!

This KYB shock replaced worn out brackets on my '95 VW Convertible and the rubber bracket area appears to be thicker and better finished than the OEM bracket kit it replaced. The rubber isn't as stiff as the OEM (check the photo and you'll see), the rubber feels stiffer (although not as stiff as the poly mount), and they still hold things on the back. My convertible is fine with no noise. If you are looking for an OEM replacement, look no further!
