Two different pieces

Ordered two tops of the shelves. When the boxes were opened, one was assembled and the other was not. One has a lower rubber bushing assembly and the other does not. Not sure which one is correct.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Very expensive

Difference from OEM

They look good but there are no instructions and I haven't figured out how to fit them. The OEM part has a cut out for the bottom rubber grommet, but they have a "sleeve" of sorts and take up space for the bottom grommet. I ended up leaving the bottom bushing and inserting the top bushing as usual. Only time will tell how this works, but everything seems fine. They are very well made and I took off one star because of the lack of instructions.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • No Power

Perfect replacement

I have seen many videos about replacing the struts on my 2003 Sequoia, but none of them suggested replacing these struts. Bilstein Technical Support recommended replacement. I have 200,000 miles, it made sense to replace them at the same time. There is no extra time to replace these fasteners.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Not Quite OEM - Shocks, Struts & Suspension

Not quite an OEM replacement for Toyota Sequoia but not sure if it will make an impact at the moment. Sequoia wants rubber grommets on both sides of this insulator. With this isolator you can't put a rubber bushing on the bottom, there is a metal gasket that is part of the isolator. However, there is metal against metal [bottom insulator and top of rack]. I don't really know how it's going to work in the long run, but I think the rubber on the bottom of the isolator will do just that, isolate.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
  • Minor Repairability

Good quality, worked perfectly. However, when replacing the struts, one of the rubber bushings is not needed. A sleeve is molded into the bottom of this bracket. Also, the mount is symmetrical, so you can use any of the three pins to sync. However, you must make a mark on the spring that matches one of the pins on the old post before disassembling the assembly. If you don't do this, the holes in the frame bracket will not line up and you will have to remove the assembly and recompress theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Mounting kits
Cons
  • Communication with seller
