This is an excellent replacement for the factory racks. Handling and braking are noticeably improved. I was told they would be delivered in a week and they arrived 3 days after I ordered them. The prices were much better than the local auto parts store.

These luggage racks appear to be of good quality. Just a note for do-it-yourselfers: SR4038 is for driver's side, SR5039 is for passenger's side. Both Revain and Rock Auto say the right side is for the SR4038, but they mean the right side when standing in front of the car and looking back. If you don't know this, you will face many headaches and loss of self-control during the installation.

Real struts and the springs seem good. However, I was very disappointed with the top mount. After assembly, the brackets did not fit. Something was always dangling or creaking. None of my adjustments and tightening all the nuts failed to solve the problem. I used to use complete racks from another brand and regret switching brands thinking I was getting quality parts from KYB.

I bought 2 rack assemblies. There are no problems on the driver's side, but a cracking sound appeared on the passenger side after two weeks. Reinstall everything, everything was fine for a couple of weeks and then the same rattling came back. Every time I ride over bumps I feel like a busted passenger wheel. They come with a lifetime guarantee, but Revain wants nothing more than a refund or exchange. Had to buy one from local dealership but again same thing. Don't waste money and time. with KYB

I bought Strut-Plus SR4039 and SR4038 kits for my wife's van. I'm not a professional mechanic, so I thought buying a complete assembly would save time and money since I could do the job myself. I have preferred KYB strut assemblies over the Monroe and Gabriel because all my other cars use KYB and they never fail to impress me. Having not used Monroe or Gabriel I cannot comment on their performance. I have ordered SR4038 and SR4039 as replacement A-pillars for my 2006 Chrysler T&C. At the time of the replacement, my car had about 58,000 miles on it and a strut replacement was long overdue.
