Cute but thin and long

This is a cute little dress and we love the color and the pattern. It's so bright and summery. The material is a bit thinner than I expected which I don't like although it does keep you cool. It is also slightly longer than it appears in the photos. My 9 year old daughter is taller and the dress hangs down to her calves. Either way, she loves bags and will definitely wear them during the hot summer months.

Beautiful and well made

I ordered this dress in a size 10/11 for my tall 8 year old. She grew out of her clothes in a size 8 and a size 10 runs larger. Her dress is a bit baggy and loose, but she likes the length. A lot of clothes for her age are too short and she hates it. The fabric feels soft and comfortable, and the colors and floral print are very pretty. She chose black and she loves it. The dress is well made and has pockets. I washed it on gentle cycle and hung it to dry and it was fine.

the fabric is quite thin

so i bought size 8 in orange and size 6 in yellow for family photos. Orange and yellow definitely complemented each other as the yellow dress has shades of orange to match the orange dress and coincidentally my eldest loves orange and my youngest loves yellow. Also, the size was pretty accurate. Size 8 fits my 8 year old daughter well and size 6 fits my 5 year old daughter well who has long legs and a long torso. Both dresses were mid-calf on my daughters.
