    Disappointing Mandoline for Home and Kitchen

    Based on my observations, this kitchen mandoline is not worth the hype. While it comes with a good safety guard, the product is not well-designed for everyday use. The blades were dull and could not cut through vegetables properly, leaving them unevenly sliced. Additionally, the product is difficult to clean and the plastic holders crack easily.

    Cuts great, choose one without a rubber handle

    This mandolin is easy to use, easy to hold, sharp Just the way you want it, light weight, easy to stow away and easy to clean. There are at least 2 other versions of it. Stay away from the cheaper version that doesn't let you adjust the thickness of the slices. But buy one that doesn't have a rubber grip on the handle because the handle is flexible and will slip a little. If you're new to mandolins, or maybe not, buy gloves that will protect your fingers.     Great but limited features

    This is a great little mandolin, but its limitations make it perfect for some jobs and not others. The width of the cut is indicated by numbers from 1 to 4, with 1 being the thinnest and 4 being the thickest. This is the salad I made for lunch. The cucumber was cut into 4 pieces which is a great size for a salad. The carrots were cut into 2 pieces (in this case specially chopped), which I prefer to my previous coarse grating method.
