Description of 🥣 Kyocera Advanced Ceramic Extra Wide Peeler with Eye Corer - Black (One Size): Efficient and Versatile Kitchen Tool

Super-efficient, 45 Degree angled peeler has a wide, ultra-sharp ceramic blade for heavy duty peeling tasks. The non-corrosive, one-sided blade is made from an advanced ceramic close in hardness to diamond that stays ultra-sharp 10x Longer than steel blades. Sharp corers easily remove blemishes in one scoop. The ceramic blade will not alter the taste or smell of food, offering pure and healthy results. Lightweight and easy to use. Great for peeling thick rinds such as jicama, root vegetables, papaya and melons. Excellent for shredding cabbage and shaving hard cheeses and chocolate.

Great but not very durable

This slicer does a great job turning my squash into julienne squash slices for fake pasta. The blade is sharp and stays sharp. The only downside is that my first one broke too easily.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Annoying

The best vegetable peeler!

This cleaner is amazing! I had a smaller one for a few years but it didn't have a little loop to pull out the potato eyes. This knife is VERY big and slides on EVERYTHING like ice. I used it to peel carrots, eggplant and zucchini. LOVE this product!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Long wait

The best there is - grating, paring and cutting knife

My wife and I agreed. I cook and clean, she cooks. Really good, I might add. You won't miss this knife until it's gone. Our old peeler broke after years of use when I slammed the dishwasher door. Hey, a peeler is a peeler. Not correct. The traditional one was definitely not as effective.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

The Kyocera Large Peeler is the best in its class!

In fact, when it comes to sharpness and breadth, this peeler is the only game in town. I use it to peel eggplant, butternut squash, and large russet potatoes. It cleans easily. It requires extra care as I broke the piece of plastic holding the ceramic blade and after about 2 years of heavy use it became unusable. This is my third and I'm glad it's still available.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Clarity

Not for intensive cleaning, not suitable for gourd

This machine was listed as a heavy duty cleaning machine but was not. As soon as I received it, I tried it on a pumpkin that I wanted to peel. It cut well, but the real problem was that it flexed a lot when I applied pressure to peel off the squash's thick, hard skin. It seemed like she was about to break if I continued. I think this will be a great lightweight potato peeler and you will be happy with it. If you don't need a ceramic knife, I think there are better and less expensive ones out…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Wow, I said wow! in Kitchen Gadgets & Gadgets

After years of using a tiny carrot peeler and grappling with a full sized carrot pocket, this is incredible. I've also used it to cut cheese, make slices of watermelon you won't believe, and worked on melons. There are so many things you can do with us. It's not the pathetic little carrot peeler you had in your drawer at Rushville and you're trying not to worry about the roast when you're fingering carrots or potatoes and it seems like it takes forever. This thing is almost too big for its own…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Functionality
