Kyostar Silicone Intake Elbow Turbo Review

I've been looking for a handset to buy for a long time and realized that there is no difference between a budget product and a top product. So I decided to buy it and I absolutely love it! Before installation I already had a KNN filter and snow guard, which greatly improved the sound of the turbine and intake. With the addition of a whistle my 2015 mk7 gti sounds amazing!

This inlet hose is exactly what I was looking for. There aren't many cheaper options for the MQB platform. It works just like any other inlet hose. It's 3 inches and it gets the job done. It was a bit tight at first, but I didn't even remove the airbox to install it. Easy installation. It doesn't rub lines or anything like that. Definitely recommend this route unless you want to spend 70+ on a famous brand.

A worthwhile increase in performance for the price. The quality of the hose is good, thick and feels solid, the clamps used are of very good quality. In terms of installation, this can be a little long when using a standard turbocharger intake pipe, but is ideal for the aftermarket. However, I didn't feel any louder intake sounds, probably due to my loud exhaust. Great value for money, save some money on this hose and buy a quality turbo intake pipe.

As others have said this hose is too long to use with a turbo inlet with a specific shoulder, it needs to be cut which is not that difficult. Works great with aftermarket collarless air intakes. Another issue: one of the T-bolt clamps was too small, so I had to find a larger diameter clamp. Also, this is a quality hose that fits my MK7.5 GTI well with an HG Motorsport inlet.
