Always buy leather: my assessment

The product was fine except the fabric is very good. Torn at the seam a month after purchase. I will never buy anything other than leather that I thought I ordered.

Pros
  • Great shoes! I bought them for my husband, son and friend. These are great slippers! Keep it up!
Cons
  • No extra padding or comfort features

Rawhide lace broke in 2 months!

Now the rawhide tip is torn when pressing! Third pair LB Evans! The first two went well! I've been wearing this pair for about a week now. All the shoes (slippers) appear to be a size 13 or 14! "I'm pretty sure I won't get her back, so I'm in clown boots!

Pros
  • I have neuropathy and this mok helps with the burning sensation.
Cons
  • thick sock

Good for big feet in my opinion

Bought it for my dad about a year ago. Wears them almost all day every day (works from home). I ended up asking for another pair. The rubber outsole is safe and non-slip. He is a size 14 and finding good overalls for him is usually expensive and rare.

Pros
  • Style, fit and comfort are top notch
Cons
  • Slow break-in time

A design flaw will lead to the premature failure of the slipper

These slippers worked well and true to size when the right slipper came off for some reason. I looked down and a leather strap was pulled through the last channel (see attached photo). These slippers do not have metal eyelets for laces that would reinforce the leather channel. I am definitely not happy with this purchase and will look for this defect in future purchases.

Pros
  • Good fit and comfort.
Cons
  • The slippers fit well and the 92 year old loved it until after a week of wearing them the stitching came undone!

Poor quality rawhide cord

The last 3 pairs I bought resulted in the rawhide cord snapping in less than a year. I doubt this is real rawhide as it has very poor durability. And the new cable will be very difficult to pull.

Pros
  • Wide enough in the box to accommodate very wide feet
Cons
  • Poor quality material

Comfortable moccasins

My men have been wearing this brand for several years! He wears them every day! You are cozy. Soft Sherpa lining keeps you warm.

Pros
  • product as described.
Cons
  • High or square toe

Not a bad final rating.

Arrived today and changed my minnet shoes which I wear as slippers. As expected they were a little tight but not uncomfortable as I'm a 4E. Unlike Minnetonkas, they come in large sizes, so I decided to give them a try. Also, unlike the ultra-narrow soles of the Minnetonkas, the outsole has the width of a moccasin, which is a big plus. I'm definitely not going back to the Minnetoncas, but I'll see how long they last.

Pros
  • We get them for dad every two years and they always wear well.
Cons
  • Unreliable line

Won't last - Fell apart quickly and is only getting worse

They are nice and comfortable for us, but after a very short time the seam in the toe area started to tear which quickly progressed. They were of little use in my apartment. Disappointment.

Pros
  • Had to order another size and returned size 9 as it was too small!
Cons
  • Unattractive design

Durable and comfortable tops in my rating

My husband is very happy with these. The midsole and outsole offer more support than normal moccasins. The quality is excellent.

Pros
  • Exactly what I expected but a little tight
Cons
  • Flat cup heel

The sole is ok, but the material of the rest of the shoe loses its shape easily and quickly. The size is too big. He keeps falling off his feet because he's too big.

Pros
  • Very comfortable, my husband loves it
Cons
  • The ties that hold it together are cheesy and loose

I broke up immediately

Don't buy these shoes. They started to crumble at the seams after only 3 weeks of purchase with limited usage. Terrible ability. The seller does not accept returns, even with this photo.

Pros
  • My husband loves her. Also bought a pair for our son in law.
Cons
  • Narrow size options

Wait! What? to my rating.

This is the second order for my husband, he really liked the first one, so I ordered the exact same thing but in a different color and the slippers don't fit him like the first ones. I don't understand, that's why I inherited them.

Pros
  • I bought these for my elderly father-in-law who was in dire need of new slippers. That's exactly what he needs!
Cons
  • I literally wore them twice before this happened. I will try to get my money back. Do not buy.

Men's shoes from 6 months

I have several pairs of LB Evans slippers and have always been happy with each pair. Fits as expected, comfort, durability. This was my first experience with Evans moccasin slippers and the first that I was disappointed. I don't subject my slippers to heavy use. I only wear them for about 4 hours. each night. Never outdoors. These slippers fit me in every way, but after 6.5 months of wearing the left slipper, the stitching all over the sock started to unravel. I was hoping this would stop and I

Unfortunately they have changed the design

I noticed that after 6 years of daily use inside and outside my home my slippers show some signs of wear. I decided to look through my purchase history and found what I thought was the same sneaker when I pressed the buy button again. When they arrived I opened the box and they looked the same, but when I put my foot in I noticed a big difference. Instead of just a sherpa liner like the old couple, they have a crappy foam liner under a sherpa cover. . That's why I hate new and improved things…

Moccasins and loafers don't last long

Bought a second pair for my husband as the first had laces which came loose at the top after about a year. Now he has a second pair of only 6 weeks, he does not wear them in the yard, and the suede has pulled out of the seam along the little finger. The soles are beautiful and durable for indoor and outdoor use. We only have major issues with the quality of suede and stitching. It's been 2 weeks since the return date and I don't see any return options now. Very disappointing.

  • Wide range

They fell apart three times, very bad design is to blame.

Ordered a size 13EEE I'm really about 12.5 E but I'm old and I just love slipping on my slippers. without having to fiddle around with tight slippers. After being worn and worn for three weeks, the top of the slipper separated from the rest of the slipper by about 2 inches. The suture material is still 100% intact. It looks like they use a regular Top 13 and then just move the holes on the edges closer to the edge of the material to make it wider. So the upper didn't have material around the…

Now all I need is a whistle and a robe

I'm very picky about my moccasins. I only wear them at home all day. So I try to buy a new pair every 4-6 months. This is my first time trying LB Evans. After unwrapping, they are wrapped and stuffed with paper and cardboard to keep their shape. At first I was concerned that they looked significantly narrower than the 3Es I ordered, but they stretched to the correct width when I put them on. The fit is tight as there is no extra leg room. I'm 9 EEE and that's what they measure. I'm sure they…
