L. Erickson Grab & Go Ponytail Holders, Black - Secure & Gentle Set of 15 for Exceptional Hold Review

I bought the same brand from Nordstrom a few years ago and it has held up so well and so long but I lost a few and some started to stretch so I thought I would buy Revain and they will be the same, but they definitely aren't. As mentioned in other reviews, L. Erickson's name on the plastic piece has a different font and size. After 3 days of use it has already started to fall apart and the plastic part is peeling off. My third picture is one of my old ones versus a new one I bought from Revain.

These hairballs are my favorites and I've been addicted to them for the past 4 years. I have thick curly long hair and it never kinks or snags like regular ties. They last a very long time before wearing and look great on the wrist. The metal version is a bit smaller than the regular ones, but still fits my not-so-small wrist well. I definitely try to give them to as many people as possible so they can see how awesome they are. Was so amazed by all the colors available on Amazon!

I have a TON of hair. Imagine weaving as thick as marine rope. Rapunzel had epic length, I have epic thickness. So finding a hair tie that doesn't stretch after two wears, doesn't break under the weight and pressure of my hair, and yet retains enough elasticity and stability to hold my hair in a ponytail is a real find. After about a year of daily use the small elastic bands inside will start to tear and stand out a bit due to over stretching/use but the fabric remains intact and they are still usable. I also noticed that the bead came loose and twisted around the fabric exposing the silver clasp that also held everything together. Addictive! I borrowed one from a friend one day when I needed to put my hair up: Pros: The most comfortable ponytail ever gave my ponytail a really nice high lift. After I took it off after 3 hours, there were no wrinkles in my hair. cause the breakage that other ponytail holders do to my hair. Cons: Super addictive - have been using it every day since I bought it and a few other friends are addicted to it! Pricey for a ponytail but worth it!
