Has worked great so far!

Replaced with these Vtec Solenoid Valve Seals on my 1995 civilian 1.6 liter engine car. Fits perfectly, test drive, no oil loss.

Pros
  • Replace Part Number: 15825-P08-005, 36172-P08-015
Cons
  • Updates

Seal the leak. - Gaskets

New gaskets stop leaks from old, hardened ones. For more padding, the new mesh was larger and didn't fit very well, so I reused the old one. The mesh is not glued to the pad so it can be easily slid out and replaced. Two lousy pads cost about thirty bucks at the auto parts store, so it was worth it.

Pros
  • Direct replacement for proper fit and easy installation, uses high quality materials
Cons
  • Available in black only

That could cost you the engine.

I had a solenoid leak on my race car but didn't have time to order a Honda gasket specifically. I put this on and everything was tight and airtight (or so I thought). It got worse and worse all weekend. As we drove the cars home, an oil puddle formed on the concrete. Big mess. I later installed a Honda gasket and never had a problem again.

Pros
  • Replacement for Honda Civic Integra
Cons
  • Has disadvantages
