I have a gas stove that absolutely dehumidifies the air. No matter what smaller humidifiers I tried, I couldn't reliably keep my house humid, and this is Texas, so we're not using the stove enough to justify putting a humidifier in it. UPDATE 05/10/2021 - I really wanted to like this product. It does what it says on the tin, it's just not strong enough for long-term use. It "creates" a kind of black metal parts in the ultrasonic tank. I thought it was the ultrasonic generator falling apart, which seems to be falling apart in about 3 months, but I sealed a new unit when I bought it. However, the pieces are back.
