Rods make locking easier

I love crafting with these rods. I wish there were more in the set, otherwise it wouldn't have been enough for my shawl. Also, I found them quite overpriced. Now that I know what they are I'll be buying more at the hardware store. Sorry, but the truth can be disappointing. and they didn't even get into the tube case to hold them together. For what they charge, nothing to be expected from a plastic tube.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Used them as soon as I got them to block a large shawl I had just finished. I love her! They're quick and easy to use, keeping edges straight and maintaining the shape of the entire piece while drying. There's no reason to wonder if it's worth blocking efforts. First, it always is, because blocking is magic. But they will make you feel like a magician because you're doing magic in no time!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Tips coarse twine hook

All tips of the locking rods were coarsely cut, not sharpened at the tip and not polished at all, there were small metal protrusions. The shawl was knitted in light worsted yarn, not sock or lace yarn etc. The locking wires were difficult to insert due to the coarsely cut ends. I was very careful otherwise the ends would have caught the yarn badly. I ended up using locking bars on one side of the project and pins on the other. I tried to return the set but I was a day late!

Pros
  • few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
