I really love this thing

I really love this thing. It is very easy and quick to knit with beads. I am working on a lace shawl using about 5000 size 8 beads which is great, I can darn it and then work a few rows before filling again. The only thing that is a little questionable are the little rubber spacers used to hold the beads in place. I ended up gluing the "back" on the end so I wouldn't accidentally pop it off and send all my beads back. I leave the front slack (of course) so I can use it when laying down the knit

Works but requires very careful handling.

I use this with size 8/0 beads which have fairly small holes and very few of them cannot easily slide over the tip of this bead. The tip tends to snag on the yarn (the weight of the tip) so I have to be very careful to remove the bead with a downward twist. Still, sometimes it gets stuck. Despite these issues, this tool lets you place beads much faster than other methods I've tried. The main reason for my lower rating is that the tool is very long so it doesn't easily fit in my project bag and…

I like it but could use an end cap and storage tube

The tool arrived quickly. I have this and a similar Fleegle Beader tool. The downside of this tool compared to the Fleegle Beader is that it doesn't come in a protective tube and doesn't have a cap to protect the end. You get two cheap little black spacers to hold the beads on the instrument. I like how it works but I would recommend 1mm which works for both size 8/0 and 6/0 beads. I bought 0.8mm and only 1 of 8 beads in my size 10/0 will fit in this tool. The 1mm tool allows you to use it with
