this is my second. I bought a spare in case something happens to the one I've been using almost every day for the past year and a half! I bought one for all my sisters, nieces and a few friends. It sits right on a shelf above my countertop and is easily accessible. Perfect! I never use it for dust. Uses 3 type A batteries that last a long time.

I've used this about 10 times. Worked pretty well picking up most of the crumbs. Next time I used it, nothing. I put in new batteries but it still won't turn on. I opened it up to make sure the batteries were installed correctly and they were. I noticed the engine was very hot although the vacuum never came on. So I decided to go back but found I was 10 days late. I feel cheated! I do NOT recommend this product.

This is the third purchase, two were introduced. Great suction power for this little thing. I spilled some tea leaves on the counter and he soaked them up straight away which is great for cleaning up the shine too! Collects crumbs from the table with or without a tablecloth. Easy to empty and you can wash the bottom, just don't submerge the whole unit in water, the bottom comes off with the filter for easy cleaning.
