Our Jackson loves them

We have used this product for years and have tried other things at various times but we always return to this product as it is pretty much anything our cockatoo can eat.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Easy maintenance

Trusted name, parrots are fine

I trust the name. The food looked good, was a good size and no added colors. Only this suited my parrots, they ate it but not in favorites. There is no smell so you can only guess about the taste.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Excellent food excellent value what to feed your bird

I am buying this for my bird it is a great food, nutritious and does not make you fat like peanut and sunflower seed products. I mix this with pieces of fruit and my bird loves it, he is a 20 year old gray parrot, he is in excellent health on this nutritious and inexpensive food. I always buy the largest quantity and seal it tightly and it lasts almost a year. . My bird doesn't throw away good food, it eats it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick guide

My bird is obsessed with these

My 39 year old Moluccan Cockatoo has eaten a variety of pellets, nuts and seed mixes and I have never seen her be more interested in pellets than when we were using them tried. Sometimes she even eats them with fresh vegetables. She started soaking them in her bowl of water, which is a new and rather gross habit, but whatever. That makes her happy. I'm really surprised that this wasn't just another dry food option, but one that she really likes. I will definitely keep buying them.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Nice packaging but my parrots won't eat them.

They are used to street bushes and wouldn't touch them. I couldn't believe they ate it even when they were starving. So I had to try and feed it to the wildlife in the park. This product was a waste of money.

Pros
  • also understandable for the old ones
Cons
  • other other

Finally found something my bird will eat!

By the time I got NutriBerries, my Khan, 34 (my last 26), stopped eating ALL bird seed except Zupreem Rainbow Pellets. And she finally gave it up a few months ago. I was desperate for bird seed to eat and NutriBerries was my miracle. I no longer worry about her becoming malnourished and eating only human food.

Pros
  • Doing well
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

My flocks won't eat it

There were so many great reviews that I decided to try them on my 2 Sun Conures and Umbrella Cockatoo. Personally, I expected a more visually appealing and flavorful product. It doesn't smell and the pellets look like guinea pig food. I was disappointed that no one in my pack even ate it. I am sticking with Lafabers Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries which my birds love and look forward to.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Little things

My Ara failed in my search for a "more bang for your buck " option.

Yarbydar didn't like these pellets. You smell bad. They don't coincide in a fun way. They don't have exciting tastes. (I even double-checked, just to make sure Yarby was just being picky. They don't taste great.) I mistook them for my mints once because they feel so compressed and dense. They were so well packaged in the container and the volume was so much better than my regular brand (Caitec Large Oven Freshbits) that I really wanted it to work. If my macaws didn't know better, they might…

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
