You will need storage bags as they are unsealed. But it's worth it! They are fresh and soft! I put each tile in a bag and store it in the fridge in the garage. Super fresh avicakes!

I am using this as a treat for three parrots. The product comes in two large resealable bags that I put in the freezer. Remove blocks one at a time to thaw and use. I let the birds wander in their cages, but when I take out the cakes to break them into pieces, they all return to their perches for a treat.

I have been buying these for as long as I can remember for my 33 year old oralitis for a healthy treatment and have had no complaints so far. Not something you have to feed with every meal, I give one bite once a day. My Gray Parrot is not a foodie like other large birds, but does like large bird cakes to keep them busy and to taste.

I love these Avi Cakes. This is the only mix my cockatoo will eat. Buying in bulk is a great saving and convenience. I put packets or bags in the large freezer until needed and staying fresh. The freezer also prevents hatching of bug eggs. (Which has NEVER happened before.) It arrives quickly and saves time on the way to the pet store. LOVE IT.

I buy them in small packs every few weeks. They are much more economical in packaging! Supplied in three large ziplock bags. It's easy to split up a portion of each pack into a smaller container for everyday use. All others come in a lockable bag in the basement. They are in very good hands there. It's not brilliant - buy them, buy a box. Many said they keep most of it in the freezer. I just don't have such a place, in a cool basement they are perfectly stored in a bag.

My macaws and gray parrots love these brownies and I get less waste than many prepackaged diets. This is a very good price. Buying the same amount of retail boxed cakes costs about $250! The box I received is marked with a use by date in 2016. Cakes are fresh. The stones are packed in three large ziplock bags. In my box were 19 stones. I repackaged each block by placing them in a food pouch (available from Revain) and sealing the pouch with a small oxygen scavenger (available from Revain) inside.
