The product is excellent, the delivery is not.

I have a small cockatoo cockatiel that I bought in 1986 when it was 4 months old. He is almost 33 years old, he is still cheerful and very active. I had a Gray African who was 4 years old and died at the age of 32. Nutri-Berries have been (were) part of their diet over time. Both love (d) nutria berries of all kinds. Nutri berries themselves deserve the highest rating. However, I am deducting a star because when I ordered a 20 lb box I received about 12 lbs of Nutri-Berries and 8 lbs of…

My blue and gold macaw loves them!

I discovered these while trying to figure out what to feed my bird while we were traveling across the country with him. Turns out my blues and golds loved these Nutriberries. I like the food he gets. They tend to crumble a bit due to shipping or tub handling, but I make my own bird bread for this, so I just toss those crumbs in the batter. So nothing is wasted. My only complaint is that they are so expensive. I've tried making my own but they turned out to be a mess so I buy them regularly…

My cockatoos absolutely love them. I feed them

I have had success making homemade Nutri Berries in a dehydrator as there are recipes on the web. However, this is quite cumbersome and it is not always possible to have all the ingredients on hand. I prefer to feed my birds organic food than artificial. But I buy them every now and then as my two cockatoos Eleanor love them. I have several granules that I buy that I mix with Nutri-Berry and they always prefer Nutri-Berries. But I only give them as a snack. As a basic food they receive daily…

My Revan loves them!

I am sad that people keep birds as pets and neglect their nutritional needs. Mixtures with birdseed are low in nutrients and contain a lot of fat. Birds should get 80% of their diet from healthy table foods, with the exception of chocolate, avocados, garlic, onions, and dairy products (although a little ice cream or cream cheese flavor from time to time is perfectly acceptable as a treat). Basically, my parrot gets some of what I eat, but if I set him up for the day along with fruits and…

My parrots love them as a treat and/or staple. Let your bird decide.

I give them as a treat and for some of my parrots as a main part of their diet because no matter how healthy cooked food or raw food may be, it only helps them if they eat it. .Nutri-Berry has not rejected a single bird from me. My birds are in great health so I have to say they are doing their job and more. I have a Timneh African Gray (a smaller version of Parrot Grey) and she loves those big nutria berries. She takes them in her claw, talks to them affectionately, rubs her head with them and
