Appears to be well done. RG58 but my run is short so I think actual loss is minimal. Roof drilling can be nerve-wracking. Watch the YouTube video for some helpful tips.

Pros
  • All Motorola style brass mounts mount in a 3/4 inch hole.
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Works well - antennas

I installed one through the bracket on my truck's roof and the other on a Laird Heavy Duty Fender Z Bracket (LBH3400). The center wire of the power line is twisted, so I had to crimp the center pin a little or it would fall off. Soldering would also be a good option. Works well for both my scanner and my dual band ham radio after connecting the BNC connector.

Pros
  • Cable length: 17ft
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I cut the coax three times and try to get enough solder so I can solder it. Garbage. The protruding tabs for hooking into the body are very small. If you drill a 3/4 hole, it's too big and you can't use it because it has nothing to bite on. The hole will be too big, so make sure you use the right size drill bit and be careful. stable and…
