The clips that hold the lamp glass are cheap. One of the lamps wasn't flat at the base, so it wobbled a bit. The light emitted is bright enough to use while working on my laptop. For the price it's worth the money.

I ordered this for its shape - a lamp base that's easy to carry and unlikely to tip over like a tall lamp. I had somehow lost it and I liked its shape. Everything was perfect - no transport breakage which bothered me as the chimneys are fragile.

I bought a pair of these lamps two years ago and was quite happy until I discovered the wicks could not be refilled. I bought the Revain recommended ones but the mechanism to insert a new wick didn't work. So I thought, well, I've worked two years, I'll buy another one. They are even cheaper! The metal is paper thin and thin. Looks good but I know it won't last long. Very disappointed.

This is a classic oil lamp with a proven design. No complaints except for the wick that came with it. It's terrible. Does not absorb oil but burns. It looks like some kind of synthetic material. If you order this lamp, do yourself a favor and also order a 100% cotton, moisture-wicking fabric (this lamp is 3/4 inch wide). After replacing the wick it works great.

I ordered two for an emergency and found one on my desk adds to the atmosphere. This adds some stillness while I do the lettering. Victorian Accent for Victorian Art. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: The glass fireplace is very, very thin. . Unfortunately, one of the chimneys was cracked upon delivery, although the packaging was solid. I ordered thick glass chimneys from another seller (Lehman's) shown here. Purple oil from another seller.

The lamp gives great light at a good price. BAD already twice: The glass curtain bounced off the base and luckily landed on something soft both times and didn't break. I do not know how. The glass jumps out of the base simply from the heat of use and expansion. In addition, the glass is not quite flat at the bottom, so everything wobbles a bit. I'm trying to find a way to fix the glass better. Very thin, poor quality glass. Overall not bad for the price, but I would rather pay more for better…
