💡 LAMPVPATH (Pack of 5) 9v Battery Holder with Switch for Convenient Power Supply Review

These 9v battery holders are just what I was looking for. Arrived on time, well packaged and I liked the extra note inside detailing possible issues and fixes. The seller knows/shows how to make it the buyer's favorite. I will definitely order them in the future.

Batteries are easy to use but be sure to use a small foam pad to secure the battery Screws are tiny so leave them in your bag and they come so you put them on don't lose them. I actually use them to make candles with pre-lit LED flickers. I have a battery and it works and it's less than 5 minutes. I will definitely be using more for other projects in the future. The packaging itself is solid and replacing the battery is just as easy, just unscrew the back and slide it out.

The product works as intended, I only have one complaint and although it is relatively small it can make a difference in whether I buy it or not. I have a few electronic projects I'm working on and the problem is how the bay and switch are placed. The power button should be on the top or bottom, because if it's on the opposite side of the compartment, there's little to no room for the box. If I want to flush mount it I have to either lose access to a battery swap or lose access to the switch…

I bought them thinking I could tie their center negative wire to my guitar pedals. I am an advanced guitar and electronics maker. But a small cover over the internal wiring rests on small pins that break at the slightest bend, as does the cover itself. On the next attempt I routed all the wiring outside of the box, using heat shrink to cover the connectors. It worked, but the wires are thin, about 26 ga, easily tangled and broken. 9V terminals are the cheapest metal, so don't try to bend them…

I did not receive any screws to attach the covers, but that doesn't dampen my enjoyment of this product! If you're like me making simple 9V LED lights for emergencies or to use as a night light, they couldn't be better. For my project I used a 12V cool white LED strip. and a battery holder, that's all.
