Low Quality Warning!

Poor quality! I was fooled by the sheer cost. The thread is very slippery, and once you cut it, it frays an inch or more. It seems that the problem lies in both the method of weaving and the material used. You walk through the fabric and it unbuttons. Ideally, you could just separate the individual threads when needed, but here you're just wasting a lot of time trying to keep them together. Like grazing cats!

Difference with the picture

product I received did not match the photos. I ordered this because I liked the variety of browns/browns and there were shades of other colors that I didn't have. The threads I received are wrapped in pure black paper so I don't know how many, I have less shades of tan/brown than in the picture and I have different shades of purple (including a repeat color). i will return it (The first picture shows all the browns/browns I got. The second picture compares all the purples and grays I have withโ€ฆ

100 skeins, about 50 different colors in total.

It was a decent amount of yarn for the money but I didn't buy 100 different colors and the ones I got are an odd selection. Firstly I think I can have around 40-50 different shades with 2-3 skeins of different colors. For example I have 3 black, blue, olive green and 2 different shades. Also, there are a few notable exceptions, for example I didn't get either dark green or dark purple, and I had a few neon colors in my range, which was surprising given these omissions.
