    WARNING. DO NOT BUY THIS GROUP!

    I bought this for my Razer Blade 13 inch gaming laptop. It's a pretty decent system and can run the games I need well. However, it overheats badly, which sometimes causes my palm to get fried (the palm rest got very hot as the heat spread), so I chose Revain to find a solution to this problem. I wanted something cheap that could get the job done, so I settled on this thing as the "best" option. The only "metal" (not even sure you can even call it that) is the mesh on top, which you could…

    As expected

    It was a little noisy at first, then it got quieter. Does a great job of keeping my MacBook Pro cool and I love that the USB connector offers bandwidth that you can plug into something else so the port doesn't get overloaded. Uses a minimum of juice. Sometimes I just use it as a computer stand because the ventilation is enough when the room isn't too hot or stuffy.

    You get what you pay for, but worse

    This laptop cooling pad is very fragile and cheap. I've hurt myself on it several times and plan to return it. The metal mesh has 12 metal tabs that you can cut. I had to bend them back. The two plastic legs do not fold, so the laptop could tip over when placed on a table. Use this on your knees where the pants are, not the shorts or those legs will keep scratching your legs. I strongly recommend that you go with something else. This product is terrible.

    Better than nothing, although clearly cheap

    It's cheap, let's start with that. The plastic is fairly flexible/thin and one of the hooks holding the fan wires was broken in the package so I had to twist the wires to keep them out of the way of the fan blades. However, all is not lost. The size and speed of the fan creates noticeable airflow - a little more towards the edges than in the center than I was hoping for, but that seems to be the case with these single large fan-cooled pads. The noise level is ok, not quiet but a typical hum. In
