Overall very strong stencils. I had trouble with some letters like W and M because the middle part of the letter is so thin that it's hard to remember and paint over. The color was seeping through and it looked like a blob! Depending on the type of paint you are using you should be able to fix this. I used white acrylic for the flower pots.

Sorry but I haven't had a chance to use them yet. They are very pretty and seem to be of really good quality. I also love the size. I wish they had some kind of repositioning glue on them. I bought a few from Michael so I'm sure they will work. I look forward to checking your store for more products. Thank you again for this catering service. judy

I bought an 8 foot board from Home Depot and cut it in half. Apply paint to the stencil. I tested both ways, using a brush, then a sponge, and the brush let the paint flow no matter how tight or dense you thought your stencil was. Blotting gives you a much cleaner look (I applied about 3 coats and let them dry for a few minutes in between). I used felt tip pens to clean up the edges for a sharper look.

I'm a novice at screenprinting and also a perfectionist - two things that don't seem to go together with this type of craft, but I digress. There was a bit of a learning curve to use (especially with related products when using the stencil itself / the drier the paint the better). I'm happy with the result. I took off a star for one main reason: the "F" in the farmhouse stencil does NOT match the rest of the calligraphy, which confuses me a bit. Again, maybe I'm just being picky, but I've…
