🚰 LASCO Pegasus 0-1071: Single Lever Cartridge for Hot and Cold Water Faucets Review

The first picture is what they sent. The second picture is what was advertised and what I needed. They sent a replacement which was the same as the first NOT AS SPECIFIED!

This cartridge is an upgraded cartridge for use with Pegasus shower fittings. However, it is significantly more expensive than other providers. I don't recommend it because of the price.

Ordered This one in the picture looked just like my old one. I thought it would be more expensive and was willing to pay the same as I paid for it as they no longer make my branded shower kits. However, when I received it, it didn't look like the picture here. And when I realized that it's universal and I can use any of these, I was furious because other places are selling the exact same part for less than $10. So $65 for a part that doesn't look like the picture at all. And I fell for it.

We bought a replacement Lasco 0-1071 2 months ago and it broke again. It seems very cheap made out of those little plastic parts that are supposed to control the hot/cold airflow. Now there is only cold water! I'm very annoyed and my "return deadline" is already over a month so seems like I'm stuck. Is there a better substitute on the market, possibly made in the USA? Update: someone told my husband to take it out and turn it upside down. As long as it works!

Who says computers don't have a sense of humor? I was looking at my previous purchases for this cartridge when it started leaking again. There is a button that says "Buy Again". The Revain host should see multiple repeat purchases of this item by the same customers.
