Doesn't leak, probably due to increased pressure, but idk

Doesn't leak, does what it's supposed to. I can feel the pressure building up on both sides where I got separated. As a result, water comes out first when I turn on an outlet. I don't think he did it before I put it in, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm not a plumber, just a guy who can figure out how to screw in a valve.

Does the job well. fits faucet parts

The tee easily screws onto my existing corner stop allowing me to mount 2 faucets instead of one. Hand tighten plus a quarter turn and no leaks. The only downside was that there was a square with a QR code on the box that had installation instructions written on it. But that only led me to the manufacturer's homepage and I couldn't find any installation instructions.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

This is a high quality brass fitting that meets or exceeds federal and state standards for low lead applications. I used it to connect an ice maker. Instead of piercing the pipe with a poppet valve, I installed the valve under the sink on the cold water side. It was leak free when hand tightened and I expect it to last for years.

Easy Ice Maker Connection

If you don't know, the "saddle valve" that comes with every ice maker kit (the one that pokes a small hole in your pipe) is the first thing to throw away. They are useless and not allowed by the rules in many areas. On the other hand, this small adapter makes it easier to connect an ice cream machine. Buy yourself 1/4" PEX or PE hose (save yourself the hassle and expense of bent copper), then crawl under your kitchen sink and slip this adapter between the shut-off valve and the cold water hoseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice to use
