LASCO 10 1215 Flexible Appliance Connector Review

I looked at all the local hardware stores for a 4+ foot line of gas dryers and couldn't find anything (maybe it's me?). I was finally able to find this product at Revain and it worked exactly how I needed it to. I do not give 3 stars for the product, but for the fact that the BTU information is not given. I needed a longer cord for my dryer, I settled on a dryer and 72 inches. After receiving it, I noticed that the diameter was smaller than my current line. So after looking at some specs for 3/8" OD and 1/4" ID and for 72" about 23,000 Btu is fine. My dryer is rated for a little over 50,000 Btu so you need at least a 1/2" OD with a 3/8" ID and 60" or less. For 72", you're better off getting a 5/8" OD…

They are very long and just what I needed to move my client's dryer away from the gas socket. Home Depot told us to tie two 48 inch pipes together, but when I got home and did a little research on the internet I realized that you should NEVER EVER join two flexible pipes together to make a longer one. My customers and I were very upset. and sent back two short pipes the next day and ordered this long pipe. I'm taking two stars off this product because the threads on the whistles are very rough.
