Check your dryer's BTU - this line is small and may not be delivering the required gas
I do not give 3 stars for the product, but for the fact that the BTU information is not given. I needed a longer cord for my dryer, I settled on a dryer and 72 inches. After receiving it, I noticed that the diameter was smaller than my current line. So after looking at some specs for 3/8" OD and 1/4" ID and for 72" about 23,000 Btu is fine. My dryer is rated for a little over 50,000 Btu so you need at least a 1/2" OD with a 3/8" ID and 60" or less. For 72", you're better off getting a 5/8" OD. Identification line 1/2 inch for 50,000+ Btu. So I sent it back, Revane didn't have what I needed so from local stock.
