🌋 Lava the Original 11.5-Inch Silver Base Lamp: Pink Wax in Clear Liquid Review

I bought this to keep in my class so kids who need to relax can look at them to calm down. It's easy to put together (it's in three parts), but nothing really held those parts in place. It takes a long time for the lamp to get hot enough for the wax in it to even move, and even when it does, it's very slow. Large blobs form at either end and float with little movement between them. I ordered a lamp with clear liquid and pink wax, but received a lamp with yellow liquid and red wax. The lamp is very weak. Bought this as a Christmas present for my 1 year old granddaughter Ishtar. I opened it up to check for damage when it arrived and it looked fine. We plugged it into our living room right after unpacking it for Christmas and after about 3 hours it was running a bit, bubbling but pretty cloudy. Four hours later, even though the liquid (water?) was completely cloudy, I was so cloudy. that the bubbles were very difficult to see. Another update: maybe the third time will be nice. I exchanged this lamp as it arrived cloudy. It should not be. This particular lamp shows signs of wear and was shaken/shipped hot. A new/unused lamp should have a hard wax disk with clear liquid on the underside. This lamp had a large bubbling wax at the bottom and a small drop floating with a cloudy liquid at the top.
