Someone lost the back battery cover from the original remote which is identical to this one. Fed up with the fancy tape to hold the batteries in the remote control, I bought this one. I put the batteries in a new one and it worked like clockwork, no programming, no issues. Once again life is beautiful.

I have an older Seiki LC-32G82. The remote control sent to me is either defective or only partially compatible with my model, as some buttons do not work as intended.
