The following error occurred in the cartridge at half toner life: HP 204A Black [K] (CF510A) The printer cannot recognize the memory of the cartridge listed above. The cartridge memory is damaged or the cartridge is not communicating. You must now replace the cartridge. I do not recommend buying this product. There are other third party toners that are cheaper or just come with an original HP cartridge.

I have a Color Laser Jet Pro M180nw. I was considering refilling my own toner until I saw the price of this toner which comes out about the same price except maybe I made a mistake somewhere trying to refill my own. Arrived undamaged and well packaged. After I put the toner in and calibrated everything everything worked fine with error messages or whatever. The filling level is registered without any problems.

Claims to have an updated chip. The printer does not agree, writes"Feed Problem". HP has ensured that cartridges from other manufacturers cannot be used with their update. I had to remove the new cartridge chip and replace it with the old HP cartridge chip for the cartridge to work with the printer. The print quality is okay. However, you, of course, have to live with the message "Toner low" and simply monitor the print quality to determine when the cartridge needs to be changed again. Not sure

The printer knew the cartridge was not an HP cartridge and sent the message 'Third party product detected'. The message has disappeared and the cartridge works like the original. I will buy more! 12/15/2020 - no longer works. Less than 1100 pages printed./28/2021 - HP updated the software in my printer so the cartridge had to be returned.
