When my mom's TV died I gave her one of my old ones that I didn't use anymore. Of course I didn't find any remote control from him. It was exactly what I needed. He quickly got into perfect shape. And it works great - all it takes is 2 batteries. The price was so low that I didn't have high expectations - in fact, I was expecting a fake or broken remote. But this is the real deal and solved my problem.

I bought a flat screen TV from one of those download deals that was dropped off by a truck. The remote that came with the kit didn't have an LED on the end. So it didn't work. The availability of cable TV didn't make much of a difference. However, I started adding components, ie. DVD players, gaming systems, the need for a TV remote control began to emerge.
