Useful - take it anywhere

I use it everywhere in the house and outside. For my computer desk downstairs - for my drawing desk upstairs (so light you can take it anywhere) - to sit at the kitchen table and read recipes - to sit outside in the sun for 15 minutes. The temptation to try it in the shower for pleasure. If the advice of health timing is to keep moving, you couldn't find a better device for doing it while you're sitting.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Good to compare with Hokki stools

I bought this for reference prior to the primary school library remodel to compare with Hokki stools. We've had two 12" and two 15" Hokki stools over the course of a year, and a few weeks ago I bought an 18" active study stool from Learniture. I asked my second and third graders to sit on both and compare without sharing information until I asked them 15 minutes later. Everyone agrees that these stools are more comfortable than Hokki stools, although they don't swing as much. I love it as they…

Perfect for all children and classrooms. Teachers must have it!

I bought these for my local elementary school. I've asked teachers what they could use most in their classrooms and I kept hearing "rocking chairs"! I think I've bought about 30 of these chairs now. You are a great addition to the class. Students love them, teachers love them, and I've been able to get way more chairs for the money than others I've found. The teachers said they really helped kids with ADHD, another learning disability, focus on their studies. BEST product and amazing price.

Love everything but (lack of) durability

I bought one of these to try in my 5th grade because they are so much cheaper than some other brands. I plan to try and then if we like it, tweak donor selection to get more. The students love the stool! However, I was not convinced by the processing quality. Several days a week we set up all the seats on the tables so that our caretakers can vacuum the carpets. We turned this stool upside down to make it more stable and to keep countertops clean. After just a few weeks, the textured seat came…

My 6 year old has been using this stool in his first grade for about 3 months now. BIG BEHAVIOR IMPROVEMENT! My boy is very, VERY energetic and "touchy". This stool allows him to channel that energy without touching his neighbors or disrupting their teaching and the teaching of the class as a whole. Our 1st grade teacher is so supportive of her that she asked the school to look for a stipend to pay her for the entire class. class, and your school and teacher will allow you to bring an external…
