Optimized Leather Armor Review

This leather armour is a great addition to any crafter's toolkit. As a result of using this product, I found that my hands were well protected from any potential cuts or scrapes when working with sharp tools. The material is thick and durable, and the design is versatile enough to fit different hand sizes. The only con is that it can be a bit stiff at first, but with consistent use, it will soften up.

The photos used in the book are of incredibly poor quality. The whole book is very amateurish. Nowhere in the book is there a list of materials used or a list of places or locations where materials can be obtained. They are poorly woven into the dialogue.

This book is a purely amateur publication attempt. It shows how to make just a fantasy costume for kids. The images are difficult to recognize and the processes are very "improvised". Leather armour, functions, antique fittings are not mentioned and no attempt is made to elucidate historically beyond the origin of the costume. I would not recommend it to anyone seriously interested in making real leather armor for Renaissance, historical exhibitions or LTOR.
