Great tool for leather stitching

When I tried this tool for my Arts and Crafts projects, I was impressed by how well it worked. The needles are sturdy and sharp, and the design of the tool makes it easy to handle. It's perfect for intricate leather stitching and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is into Leathercraft. The only downside is that it may take some practice to get used to the tool, but after that, it's smooth sailing.

Suitable for light work involving many of the same items

I'm new to leatherworking and got it working with 9 oz. leather projects. The size is good, the wood is good. Here the pluses end. Disadvantages include clamps - they were bent at the factory as they were pulled over and then closed. They continue to bend even after straightening. The thickness adjustment screws are too small and difficult to adjust. I ended up drilling them to make it easier to turn them with a screwdriver. I ended up making my own sewing horse.
