Purchased for Audi Q5e. The original charger that comes with the car is perfect and allows you to easily charge the car at home using a regular socket. Has withstood rain and sun. Would buy again.

Protective cap for J1772 socket broke on first use. The cable will not charge after a week and the insulation on the J1772 connector has cracked exposing the internal wiring. Terrible value for money. My charging station has a 10 year old cable that still looks brand new and this one broke after 3 uses...is back.

I bought this extension to use with my electric car. Problems arose shortly after purchase. Although I have contacted Lectron THREE times to ask them to fix the problem, each time they replied that someone would get back to me within 24-48 hours, but I have never heard from them again.

Bought to add the Tier 2 charging cable because the car cannot park next to the charger. It's durable, nearly an inch in diameter, and both the J1772 and the extension feel premium. I've only been using it for a short time to make sure it works and I'm sure it will always be there when I need it.

I bought this J1772 power strip so I can charge our 2020 Chevy Bolt outdoors until the GM battery burn issues are resolved. The cable is very high quality - the cable is heavier than the one that comes in the charging box, all connections are strong and in strong heat shrink tubing. Neither the charger nor the car seem to notice the presence of the cable, which is a very good sign.

This is a GREAT deal, had a 30ft cable but this person no longer sells it. 40ft is cool but be prepared to stow it in the car it's heavy haha but sometimes it pays to have 10ft extra. I had 20ft and it was fine 90% of the time, but 40ft would be 100%. I have two chargers at work but of course our parking lot is full so it's really handy.

Ordered because I wanted to charge my car at work. We have a 220v outlet on the side of the building but it is about 30 feet away. The one I had was too short and I didn't want to plug it in myself so I went back to my Revain wagon and found the company I bought the backup charge cable from to find out they made an extension for made the charging cables. The cable arrived on time and was of good quality. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a great addition to my Prius plug-in hybrid. I have a 110V outdoor outlet, an outlet outside the home, not an expensive charging station. So I park my car more than 20 feet from the outlet so I ordered this extender to connect to the outlet in my car. The combination of the two cords works great! I can fully charge the car in about 5 hours. The cable is very strong but very heavy and bulky. I keep it in the trunk of my car for easy access, but it takes up a lot of space in my trunk…

I've only used it a few times but so far it's working well. It has a heavy cable, much thicker than the charger (EVSE). It appears to be well constructed, with end caps on both ends. I saw other reviews where people complained about the broken cap. The male end cap is a soft, flexible rubber stopper. The female end cover is plastic, hinged and latched. I can see it might break if you drop it on a hard surface but I'm not sure how important it is to still have these caps, but if needed they can…
